My name is Lisa, I currently reside in the Dallas, Texas area with my husband Shawn, son Lucas and twins Jack and Macy.  I am a work at home mom who loves what I do!  I really enjoy having an outlet for my creativity while still being able to stay home with my children.

Love Lucas Creations was started March 1, 2008.  It all started when I was still living in Albuquerque and my son was about a year old.  Money was tight and I wanted to help bring in some income.  I happened to see the Martha Stewart show, which I never watched, of a young woman who started a business making dog t-shirts and stationary and selling them on a site called Etsy. (which I had never heard of at the time!)   She had turned her little hobby into a full time profitable business.  I thought I could do that! 

I had an idea to make custom onesies for babies.  I went out later that day to the craft store, picked up some supplies and got home and went to work.

The first onesie I made and sold was a St. Patrick's Day onesie with a leprechaun on it.  Looking back, I can't believe I sold that to someone - HA!  I listed it on etsy for $7.00 and within 20 minutes it was sold.  I was hooked.   Eventually I got my own website and still continued to sell on Etsy, selling a few things here and there, to now, selling about 100 shirts a month.

I've learned a LOT over the years and my products are getting better every day, I'm at a great place with everything and I'm proud of what I sell and wouldn't sell anything I wouldn't put my own children in.  I'm in LLC for the long haul, hoping to go more full time when my children are all in school.
